I am just now getting around to posting about Colin's recent 3rd birthday! His actual birthday was on the 26th, and we had a party on Saturday at the park to celebrate. The reason I am so late about it is because I came down with something after the party and was pretty much out of operation the whole weekend. Anyway, we had a good time and here are the photos:
Right before we cut the cake we had a visit from Spiderman!
Despite the heat, we did have fun and appreciated Spiderman's visit as well as all the friends and family who came to wish Colin a Happy Birthday!Sunday we went to mom's and celebrated both of the boys birthdays with my family there, and of course, we had to swim in the pool! I still was feeling pretty bad so I didn't take many pictures but here are a few:
I can't believe that he has turned 3! Sometimes it seems like just yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital, and sometimes it does seem like a long time ago. I won't get all mushy here but there is so much that I love about him- his belly laugh, his desire to be a helper and encourager, the times when all on his own he will come to me and apologize for something wrong he did. We love him so much and are so grateful for our son.
