At first, Colin was not into it. Now this is the kid who ALWAYS wants to go outside, but he wasn't interested in getting multiple shirts and pants on, as well as gloves, hat, and his thick jacket that it's never cold enough for here. Here is a pic of him exhibiting his disapproval.
He told me that he didn't want to go out in the snow because he would get dirty.
BUT, he quickly warmed up to it and then he had the best time! It was so fun to watch him- I felt like a kid again.
He quickly caught on to making and throwing snowballs at mommy and daddy!
And....eating the snow
He kept saying,"it's like ice...it's good!"
After playing outside, we came in and got dry and warm and I made snow cream- snow, milk, sugar. We stuck it in the freezer for a little while and then enjoyed it together.
When Robson woke up, he and Colin played together. Colin is such a sweet big brother to him, and it's sweet to watch Robson as he is fascinated with everything that Colin does!
Wild man Colin
When Chris and I put the boys down for their naps, we watched the Inauguration of President Obama. While we do disagree with some of his policies/ideas, we will honor and respect him as our President, and have committed to pray for him and his sweet family often.
