It's been a whole month!

WOW- it has been a month since I last posted! Where does the time go?! Since then, Chris and I took a little weekend trip to Blowing Rock. Colin stayed with my mom and Robson stayed with my grandparents. We had a great time and I know the boys did! Here are a few photos from our trip:

The place we stayed- Hemlock Inn. It came recommended from Jason and Becca, and it was a nice place. The people who own it/work there were very helpful. The only thing was, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, but we made do. We still slept in until about 9AM on Saturday, and that was awesome.

We took a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was beautiful, but it was hard to get good "scenic" photos because every shot we got had powerlines in it! (except for this one) Plus, it was raining and we didn't want to get out of the car too much. It was a great time though for us to just be able to relax and spend time together.


We also took a trip to Ashley and Anna's to play for a while and here are some of those pics.




I was not successful at getting Anna to smile while I was holding the camera- she is so cute though and has the prettiest big blue eyes with LONG eyelashes.


Ok this next one is just hilarious to me- Colin made this up all on his own- can you guess what he is pretending to do with this bucket on his back and holding the dustbuster?

This is his "backpack leaf blower". I couldn't figure out why he was trying to put this bucket on his back. Then, he told me what it was and I thought that was very creative!

And lastly, this was taken on Mother's Day. I am so blessed to have such sweet and healthy little boys! I pray that they will grow up to be men who genuinely, unashamedly and boldly love our Savior, Jesus!
